CEA Reagent – Jaj International

CEA was first isolated from colon tumors. It belongs to a family of glycoproteins with a molecular weight of approx. 180,000-200,000 and a carbohydrate content varying between 50 and 60%. Elevated CEA serum concentrations are found in patients with carcinoma of the lung, colon or breast. CEA measurement, alone or in combination with other markers, is intended for early diagnosis of relapses for therapy monitoring.
